Theog is the top expert on this and author of those tutorials, and he asked you to post a link to your Dell drivers webpage. Otherwise we need your tag number to find the drivers for you.

If SATA drivers are not broken out separately then they are most often in the chipset.

Have you unzipped the XP chipset and browsed into it for the SATA controller drivers?

Yes I have and there is nothing clearly marked XP or is it in the All folder with a lot of files. If it is in there I don't know what one it is or what to copy over to nlite.

Here are the F6 SATA controller drivers for XP for Optiplex x010 models which of course now must be slipstreamed unless you have Floppy support: Driver Details | Dell US.

As they are AHCI drivers try setting your SATA controller to AHCI first.

    Hi there
Slipstream the DRIVERPACKS SATA drivers into an XP install disk --read the documentation CAREFULLY though. These should work with every MOBO in the known universe. I've used them successfully on a load of different machines. But I REPEAT : READ THE DOCUMENTATION CAREFULLY.
