    Please help Me with Re installation of XP in Dual Boot


    Hi My Dear Friends
    I am New To This Forum
    But I hope , thi sforum will solve my Problem

    I am having Dual Boot With Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7

    I dont want to have XP SP3 , so i am going to reinstall XP SP2again

    But I dont want to reinstall WIn7 Again , please guide me how to do this

    Actually I have already Instlled Win 7 along with XP .
    Now I want to reinstall XP by Formatting C Drive
    So what will happen to boot loader ?

    You will lose the ability to boot Windows 7. Afterward you will need to run EasyBCD to have it rediscover the Windows 7 and reinstall the bootloader, or run Startup Repair after booting from the Windows 7 disk, or if these fail run a repair install of Win7 which is an unpgrade over itself which I have used several times to re-establish its boot since it then becomes the second installed as required.

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

    If you go to the tutorial given by sup3rsprt and scroll down you will see the instructions on how to install XP after Win7 was installed, including 'NOTE: This is required to repair the Windows 7 boot file and add XP to the Windows Boot Manager list'.

    Just look for:

    When Windows 7 is Installed First
