    I need original recovery image of HP Envy 6 1002TX [Windows 7 Basic x64] if anyone can provide me with the links, i would be grateful.

    Hi there and welcome to Seven Forums ... I am sure you should be able to order them from the HP website ... But they wont be free... How ever If you just want to Install windows ... And have the product key coa which should be on your computer .... You can download the OS from the link below ... All the instruction for the install are included in the link below

    Sorry but my laptop came with Windows 7 basic x64 but there's no Basic version.
    so if possible some one avail me the recovery image.

    Right try the link below .... It may be a bit complicated side for you ... Have never tried it myself .. So cant guarantee it will work

    I have done that already but the PC is too slow and the support center is asking me to order the recovery discs from HP and then the PC will work fine.

    Yet there is no difference b/w HP's ISO and windows 7 original ISO, except the fact that the HP's iso comes with preloaded drivers.

    And yes, it works 100% .
    Just delete the ei.cfg file from an Ultimate disc and you will have all the versions.

    We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
    & made the Startup Repair CD.

    You can order OEM Recovery disks from your OEM manufacturer's website.
    Most OEM's will ship Recovery DVD's for FREE, (may be a postage fee)
