Unable to boot windows after installing ubuntu

I previously had windows 7 operating system. For some use I also needed the ubuntu operating system.I have the ubuntu 12.04 64 bit on a cd.In order to use the new operating system.....I had the need for a new drive. But I've got a Hewlett Packard in order to create a new drive for installing ubuntu...I deleted the SYSTEMS drive(as that was the possible solution given online). After doing this I completed installing the ubuntu OS....but now my windows OS is not to be seen.....when booting I get 2 possible options
2.Windows Recovery option.

Now in order to open the windows OS,I dont have an I tried the windows recovery option ..and I restored it to a previous date..and that was successfully completed....But my point is that I'm still unable to switch to windows OS...need some help in this regard....cause I dont want to get stuck with Ubuntu all the time

When you deleted the Windows system partition, you deleted your Windows bootmgr. Now you have to set your Windows 7 partition as active and then run Startup Repair 3 times.

Unable to boot windows after installing ubuntu

The procedure that you suggested in the last post doesn't work in my case...cause I'm unable to boot Windows. When I turn on my laptop, I get 4 possible options
1.Ubuntu,with Linux
2.Ubuntu with Linux(with recovery)
3.Memory test
4.Windows recovery environment
So...if at all I've got to operate from any OS....its just Ubuntu....please help me restore Windows

Can you use use Method Three (Partition Wizard) in Partition - Mark as Active for this?
Can you use Ubuntu or another PC to download and create the PW bootable disc?

you can boot the Ubuntu live cd and run gparted to flag your windows 7 partition active. should be something like System > Administration > Partition Editor. but I'm not sure as its been a few years since I've run Ubuntu.
