Partion table - multiboot
Hello, I have a strange problem with my partition table and bootloader. First of all, I have 2 OS: Windows 7 and Linux Ubuntu.
When installing linux, I choose to put the grub bootloader(which sees windows 7 loader) into the system reserved partition (belonging to windows).
After finishing the install I wasn't able to boot into windows 7 again. So, I used a tool, called boot-repair (run under linux) to repair the mbr of windows.
I thought I repaired all the problems, but then, when I opened windows explorer I've observed another partition called System Reserved(on drive lettter E.
Also, Grub used to identify windows 7 on dev/sda1. Now I also have sda2 partition. I must mention that previous I had the following partitions:
-> System Reserved (I believe here is located the bootloader). ;
-> C: with windows 7 ->
->D: for storage ->
->linux partitions...
The question is if I could use something like EasyBCD to write MBR (as my laptop came with the system preinstalled, and I don't have a CD), set windows 7 as default OS and hide the system reserved partition? Also, I was wandering where the windows bootloader is right now?
I will post a screenshot, maybe it helps.... Thank you in anticipation.
