    My sneek preview is missing


    Have just installed afresh from the M$ media but fid my sneek preview and transparency disable is missing does anyone know how to get this back??

    Sorry Gary I should have put peek view and it is back after some updates - that is with Ivy and as you know now it is dead in the water right now

    You mean when you hover on the task bar with a window opens and a small version of it pops up?

    It's likely you turned it off as per the optimizing tut? I think that's one think Shawn recommended to help w7.

    No mate that is the first place I looked and it didn't have the option?? Beats me how it got back.

    try this ...
    type services in the start search, click the result with the cog .
    in the window that opens scroll down to Desktop Window Manager Session Manager.
    click on it to highlight it , then on the left side click start this service, if it is already started ,stop it then restart it.
    also right click on the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager/select properties and check it is set to automatic on the startup type.
