as i went to boot menu i saw these:-
    1-HITACHI
    2-IDEI:
    3-USB FDD
    4-NETWORK BOOT ATHEROS BOOT AGENT
    5:USB HDD:
    6:USB CD ROM

    and in a menu MAIN:-

    quick boot-enabled
    netboot:enabled
    f12 boot menu :disabled
    d2d recovery:enabled
    sata mode;(ahci)

Go back into BIOS setup, Enable F12 Boot Menu, Save setting and exit. Then tap the F12 key at boot to trigger installer.

Hitachi is your SATA HD, correct?

Unplug all other HD's and periperhals.

Be sure to delete all partitions at Steps 7 and 8 of Clean Install Windows 7 to create new ones as you please, or jsut click Next to let installer do it for you and begin.

Have your network driver in the backup so you can install it to get online if its not provided by the installer, then enable Device Installation Settings and run all rounds of Important and Optional Updates to completion. If any drivers are still missing after all Updates are done then import them from the Suppport downloads webpage for the model.

If this is the Atom with 2gb I would use 32 bit..

Be sure to follow the same steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
for handling drivers and setting it up perfectly.

Where are you getting Win7 for this upgrade? How is it being activated?

How is performance? Any issues? You can go over your install to check it over good using Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

Sounds like you are happy so far. Congrats on that
