I need help Reformatting my Win 7 starter

I don't know much about computers but I figured I would give a shot at reformatting my EeePc before junking it. My problem is that the computer does not have a disc drive and came per-installed with Win 7 starter so I have no way of re-installing windows after I reformat it. Also I'm really not sure how to do the reformat. Hopefully someone can help.

In order to use the installer disc that x BlueRobot linked to you will need to have an external USB DVD drive to use with your eeePC. You would probably be better off following these instructions: How to create a bootable Windows 7 USB flash drive | Ars Technica which will lead you step-by-step in creating a USB thumb drive installer for Win 7.

As part of the install process the installer will format the drive (if needed) so you don't need to worry about that. Before you start, go to the ASUS website and download the drivers for your eeePC for the wifi, network, video, etc... so that you can install them after installing Windows.

    ASUS Eee PC Technical Updates

    System recovery

Disable Boot Booster in BIOS setup before you perform system recovery from USB flash disk, external optical drive or hidden partition.

Ensure to connect your Eee PC to the AC power adapter before using F9 recovery to avoid recovery failure.

    Using recovery partition (F9 Recovery)

    1. Press <F9> during bootup.

Ensure to press <F9> only once during bootup.

    2. Select the language you use and click to continue.

    3. Click Recovery in the Recovery System dialog box to start the system recovery.

    4. The system starts system recovery automatically and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the recovery process.

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

    1. Download the same latest official Win7 installer ISO with SP1 and Media Refresh as your 32-bit or 64-bit licensed Windows version.
    • You can slipstream the latest Updates into the installer ISO to save at least an hour's Updating after install using Update 7 installation media.

    • If the licensed OS printed on the COA sticker on bottom is Home Basic or Starter then download Home Premium, run the eicfg removal tool to unlock all versions, later during install choose the licensed version from menu.
    2. Burn ISO to DVD or write to USB flash stick (minimum size of 4GB required) using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool.
