Install win7, then SP1 or slipstream?
I'm about to put a system together and install win 7 pro x64. I was about to slipstream SP1 and subsequent updates in, but then remembered how MS set users adrift by not providing a repair install method for those of us who don't have a win7/SP1 retail DVD.
Has this situation changed? If not, would the best method be to install win7 then windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe, then allow updates so that SP1 could be uninstalled in the event a repair install was required ()? Or is there an install iso that can be downloaded free of charge to be used for existing installs?
