I was referring to the transition period after installing to the SSD then making sure you have everything moved over from the HDD.
You have 30 days to activate the new install by which time you'd need to have deleted the old install as specified.
To have two installs activated at the same time you'd need a second key.
Yes, but it's only taking advantage of the 30 days you have to activate the new install. It doesn't need to be that long.
Do you want to leave your data on the other HDD and link it from the new install, or move it into the new install?

There is one other thing that might happen. When I did a clean install on the SSD and input the Product Key, it was not immediately activated. I got a popup that asked me to call a phone number to Microsoft.
It was a recording on the phone I called. It asked a few questions and asked me to give them the Product Key. It took about five minutes. They activated Windows with no problem. I just thought I would point that out.
Thanks bigmck and gregrocker, and last thing(): after I install Windows 7 on the new SSD, I can delete the Windows from the HDD by simply marking the Windows folder, and deleting it to the Recycle bin? Or I need to delete the old Windows in a different way?
Just as a safety precaution before you delete it, unplug the HDD with Windows and reboot your PC. This is just to make sure that the SSD is booting on its own. After that you can delete it as you said.
