There is a tutorial in the General section about this. I haven't tried myself.

    Hi Kurofox
I haven't seen the download but it should be a ISO file, right? You shoudl be able to just mount it on a DVD using a program such as ImgBurn or Nero etc. Be sure to burn it at a slow speed. That is a common source for problems.

Its not an iso file. When you download the file it makes a folder called extended setup. Inside is a .exe.

You need a burning app like ImgBurn, or alcohol120%. In either you tick off the bootable box and burn the ISO one file (not the files and folders) to dvd.

let us know if you need help

    Thanks.
My suggestion, although there might be other and better ways: create a new empty partition, run the .exe file and clean install Win7 on that partition. After everythign is up and running you can create an image of Win7 (for the future) and delete the original one where you have the download.
I don't know details about the install file, so I can only hope it is that simple.

Did you buy the Student Upgrade offer version or did you get it from somewhere else?

The Student Upgrade offer version downloads three files
    Windows 7-HP-Retail-en-us-x64.exe
    setup1.box
    setup2.box

No .iso included like everyone thought they would get. There is a thread on how to extract the files and make a bootable DVD.
Pretty stupid way to offer it.
