    What is the pat No next to SATA 1? (WD???????????????)
    WD = Western Digital.
    or
    Look for the make on the HDD.

    I have no choice but to remove the the hardrive and see for myself? , or could I find the No next to SATA 1 in the BIOS? , the reason I ask because I have no experience in that area unfortunately.

    If a serial is given next to the HD's listing in BIOS you can sometimes google the serial to reveal the HD make and model, or at least the make which is what is needed to find the HD Diagnostic.

    Otherwise here is the HP tutorial for removing and/or replacing the model's HD: http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/biz...&printver=true

    Type the number into Google and it brings up Seagate disks
