    Starter to Premium ?

Just purchased an HP Mini 110 last week , and they have added an option to add Windows 7 (Starter) as an OS. My question is; I have downloaded W7 Home Premium(Retail) and its on a flash drive. Would I be able to easily upgrade Starter to that? If so how? Just run the setup file? Or will it cause problems( like make me lose everything, no wifi, etc...)?

You can upgrade from Starter to Home Premium by running setup.exe and following the instructions

Backup beforehand just to make sure nothing happens

Alright, I really don't mind about losing anything because I plan on doing it as soon as it comes in. So it won't affect anything because I heard of some problems with the Beta on this netbook?

Hopefully not...make sure you also have a license key for Home Premium to place on that netbook

Ok, would I be able to use the Starter key as the license key or no?

No, you will need a Windows 7 Home Premium key.

Correct, you would then have 30 days to activate it before it pretty much locks down until you enter a legit key.
