clean win7x64 installed on hp dm1 4302ep(win8),now i cant find drivers

that's pretty much the topic.. did a clean win7x64 with sp1 install, but now some drivers are missing, i cant use the ethernet, or the Fn keys on laptop.. does someone knows a solution?

these are the ethernet possibilities, i got them trough the info on the windows 8 driver:

    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136="Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller"
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168="Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller"

so far this is the biggest issue, and the brightness Fn keys..

Did you plug in by wire for install to see if the installer provides the driver as it will 70% of the time?

If not import the driver from the HP Support Downloads webpage for your model PC. Use Win8 driver if necessary. When I check Software & driver downloads HP Pavilion dm1-4302ep Notebook PC | HP® Support under Network drivers it shows this Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver

Once connected to internet, enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) to run all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates to completion. After requested reboots, go back to Check for Updates until there are no more.

If any drivers remain missing in Device Manager after all Updates are completed, import them from the same HP webpage. Some may be elements of the chipset. We can help you if you ask back.

Windows 8 FAQ: Can I downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7? - HP Support Forum - 1980149

    WaliN said:
Yes, customers can downgrade to Windows 7, but Microsoft has different terms regarding users’ downgrade rights and paths. HP recommends customers check with Microsoft for the terms governing their specific operating system edition.

Customers who are able to and choose to downgrade their HP Windows-8 compatible products to Windows 7 will remain protected by HP product warranties. However, HP has not tested all Windows 8 platforms for Windows 7 and we may not have your particular drivers available. If you choose to install a different operating system (OS) and have a problem that requires HP support, you may need to restore the original OS to fully diagnose your problem. Please check with HP Customer Care for questions related to your specific product.

HP only support Windows 7 drivers for test Models.

    Thank you gregrocker
i installed the hp quick launch buttons and the shortcuts are now running, very nice

i tried then working out the ethernet
installing the win8 drivers produces the following during install:
    "Find file failed"
after a few secons these run above the install window:
    "new controller version: unknown"
"the realtek network controller was not found, if in deep sleep mode please plug the cable"
I did it while the cable was plugged to my alive ps3

so i tried another method, i went into device manager, and choose to update driver from the ethernet icon
and manually browsed for the unrared folder, from the setup i tried to use above
    result:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

it is installed there with a yellow! sign
i went into details, and on hardware info i collected this:
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_18D4103C&REV_06
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_18D4103C
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_020000
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_0200

and still it doesnt work :\
i have all the win 7 updates installed as today, i ran the windows update tool again and there's no update.

    this is my surprised face

microsoft and it's lobbys.. **** them.
ok for all the fuzzybears around here's the translation:

computers are used to work, i use it to work, to provide a more comfortable living for others.
why am i forced to use a system wich main point is give a easy acess to cultural stuff and social media, so that microsoft expands her own amount of clients?

and it's not just that, it's that many functionalities are simply bad
    slow internet speed?.. sucks
    no start menu? sucks
    metro? wtf
i'm sure easily a lot of other childish decisions about it were made, not taking in account the people that like me use the computer for productive stuff, and not just instagram and facebook, twiiiter... blah blah blahggggg

    let's put it this way
my computer is NOT an iphone. i didnt bought a tablet, i bought a computer. for work. not for crap.

Why did you not buy a PC with Windows 8 Pro.

Instead of using the Windows 8 Pro software, you may use one of the following earlier versions: Windows 7 Professional or Windows Vista Business.

This agreement applies to your use of the earlier versions. If the earlier version includes different components, any terms for those components in the agreement that come with the earlier version apply to your use of such components. Neither the manufacturer or installer, nor Microsoft, is obligated to supply earlier versions to you. You must obtain the earlier version separately. At any time, you may replace an earlier version with Windows 8 Pro. To enable downgrade on this computer to Windows 7, you must change the settings to boot into legacy BIOS mode. If the BIOS setting is not changed back to native UEFI mode boot prior to installing Windows 8 Pro, Windows 8 Pro will install; however, the following Windows 8 Pro functionalities will not work as they rely on UEFI mode boot:
OEM manufacturer to supply downgrade rights Vista/Win7 Install DVD's.

    For example Fujitsu OEM manufacturer:

    DVD 1) Drivers & Utlilties.

    DVD 2) Windows 8 x64 DVD.

    DVD 3) Windows 7 x64 DVD.

    DVD 4) Windows 7 x32 DVD

I have never seen a driver not be found for Win7 yet, whether coming from XP, Vista or Windows Ate.

Since your Updates are all installed I'm assuming you are using wireless which has its driver? Did you enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) and Check for Updates, install all Important and Optional to completion with reboots, and check again?

Try the driver Theog supplied to see if it works. If not we'll try to trace it further for you.
