You can go over your install thoroughly with the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

If it checks out and there are no performance issues then you can keep what you have.

But if it doesn't or you have the an inferior Acer factory Preinstall then follow the steps given to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. We will be here to help you as needed.
