    What is x:(boot) drive?

    I guess it's a kind of PE?
Even if I've uninstalled 7 it's still there.is the uninstallation incomplete?
And,where does it reside in my hdd?How can I delete it?
    Thanks.

Would you be talking about the 100MB System Partition made at Setup?

You are not meant to see the System Reserve partition and it has not drive letters assigned to it. He must be talking about something else.

If you don't intend to use bitlocker, you can remove the partition in computer management

No,I can't see the partition in xp setup,xp,or third party software.but when I load the Norton Ghost Environment,it has the win7 font and background.
The Ghost shows 3 local disk,a dvd,and a x: (boot). It seems it's not just loaded into the ram.Should be somewhere in my hdd.
    So I feel confused.
