So i have tried nearly everything. Driver Scanner found updated Ahci Compatible raid Controller and ATI Raid Console drivers.

The only one that will install is the AHCI

When i try to instal the Promise ATI SATA Raid Console it downgrades the AHCI and the Raid Console.

I just don't get why didn't I have all these problems when I used the bet?

The only thin I can think of is to give one of you guys virtual access to my system and see what you can find.

Yes it does. If you read all the posting, other help wanted me to try upgrding to Windows 7 32-bit to see if I could. However, a difficulty hasbeen discovered with that also.

For 64 bit I get the same advisor report.

Saying something about, if I updated my hard drive or hard drive controllers to uninstall them. Or something like that.

I'm going to take another shot at this:

Last night a user followed my advice and only used 1 stick of RAM, but he had to try it in his 4 different ram slots. It worked in the last slot

" ok... dont understand HOW or WHY...

But i put ONE stick of memory in Slot 4 and now i get past that part and am at the installing windows screen. "Part 2" Hope it goes well from here. I will let you know A.S.A.P when and if it completes. I hope this will help others in the same frustrating situation i was in for the past 2 days. "

So how many ram sticks do you have ? can you try with just 1 ?

If it installs & runs for 24 hours ok, then we can put the other ram back in

Remove the 1gb stick, make sure the orig 2gb is inthe correct slot it came in.

You may have mis-matched memory timings between the 2 sticks
