Windows 7: Fail to start up - Can't boot hard drive - Windows cannot be installed

Is there ever anything at all that comes on the screen once you power up.

Are there any lights on the laptop which show up when you power up? Check for LED lights around the edges.

Unplug the power and battery. Hold power button down for 30 seconds, then replug everything again. Now try to power up.

If still no signs of life at all, try another adapter. You can take your adapter to a store or shop and ask them to plug in their universal adapter to do this.

Yes the power led light is on and also I can hear the sounds from inside like little from CD Rom and little little from hdd but nothing is on screen and it whole black. I have tried your suggestion unplug and 30 sec and then replug again but not working on it. I am really very hopeless and nothing seems alright. Can you pls help and find a way for me. I will be very very grateful. God bless....

Try plugging a monitor into the side of the laptop to see if it has a signal when you start it.

If there is no signal to the monitor then the problem is not the laptop screen but could be the display adapter, motherboard or CPU.

If there is display on the external monitor then the screen may need replacing, or you can check the connection of the harness that plugs in the screen which sometimes comes loose. A video may exist showing how to disassemble your model PC. However this is risky if you are not extremely careful. You may want to take it to a shop.

Also find the fan vent on the side of the laptop and see if you can feel it blowing warm air. Carefully turn the laptop over and shine a bright light into the fan port. Do you see the fan spinning?

Once again I want to clarify that I was asking if there is EVER anything on the screen like a logo when you first start it up?
