Licence Key Problem ?

Okay so ive had this compage cq 58 since new i was supposed to be windows 7 on the box but i was windows 8 no licence key on the bottom , bar a windows 8 Logo sticker? is that normal ?

So, my friend recently acquired a MSI A6200 laptop with a Core i3 and 4GB of RAM. Also, it's second hand. It came with Windows 7 HP x86 installed and has an original Windows sticker with a product code. Can I use this code to format and install Windows 7 HP x64 or it's locked to x86? Thanks...
