Remove Windows 7 But Keeping All of My Files

I want to delete Windows 7 off my 1.5 TB. I just got a newer machine and am going to put Windows 7 on that but wasn't sure if I should transfer all of the info from my other HD or what? Any help is appreciated

    Thanks

So win7 is on old machine and new machine? Both same version (home premium for example)? Both x64 and same language?

You are trying to install win7 on new machine?

Has the 1.5TB win7 installed on it or not??? In your first post you say something like "delete win7 from 1.5TB"

Yes that's possible. You did store all pictures, documents in "my pictures", "my documents"? Actually they are stored in C:\users\<your name> ....

Just delete all stuff you don't want anymore. C:\windows, C:\program files, C:\programdata ..... all can be deleted. What's the problem anyway?

But if that's really the way to go????!!

Well there is no issue...Just wanted to use my 1.5tb for storage and the 500gb as my main drive with the os on it....would it be easier to create an image of my current 1.5tb drive and apply it to the 500gb drive? I dunno

So you want to clone the 1.5TB drive to a 500GB drive. At least something that has the same result?
You still don't answer my previous posts. I asked you to answer them ALL.

Without telling me the current situation (exactly) and without knowing what you want as end result... I can't give you advice.

But it looks like you want to clone the current situation (win7 OS, application and all data) to the newer computer.

So Windows 7 is on old machine and new machine? No currently the older machine

Both same version (home premium for example)? Both x64 and same language? _The 1.5TB drive) has windows 7 ultimate and the newer machine (The 500gb drive) has vista....I know its not new per se but the one I am currently typing this on is fairly old.

You are trying to install Windows 7 on new machine?Ultimately what I wanted to do is format the 500 gig drive and install windows and use my 1.5tb drive for storage of all my files and videos and the like.
