Use Recovery Disks? Or Generic Disc?

I need to reinstall Win7 on my Asus laptop. I have the Asus recovery CDs, and I own a generic Win7 license with DVD. Which way is better?

Depends on your needs. DO you need any of the bloatware that manufacturers add? If not then doing a clean install (with format) using the generic DVD is the way to go.

I do not need the bloatware, and I do not like them. But how about the drivers? Will the right drivers install automatically when I install from generic Disk?

Yes, during Windows installation Microsoft certified drivers for almost every connected device will be installed automatically. These are usually adequate for 99% of devices....you can replace these with specific manufacturer drivers at a later stage if you need to.
