Hi,
Contol Panel->System->Advanced System Settings. There is StartUp and Recovery click Settings.
In default OS select Windows 7,and uncheck Time to display operating systems.
You can follow this tutorial.
Windows Boot Manager - Delete a Listed Operating System
Hi there
Hopefully you aren't visiting France with swords or pistols drawn at Dawn !!!!!!!
Duel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
However the best thing you can do is reset the MBR if it's an MBR disk and then simply recover W7 by inserting your W7 into the machine and chose the recovery / repair windows option.
You might also be able to do it with BCDEDIT or one of those boot editors -- I'm sure others will post if that method is easier. I use VM's these days for running different OS'es so the problem never arises now.
(The previous post only HIDES the option -- I think you want to get RID of it completely).
Cheers

The correct way to delete an OS is delete its partition in Disk Mgmt after making sure the System Active flags are on the other OS.
Then if it remains on the boot menu, enter msconfig>Boot to delete it, or if not there install EasyBCD to delete it on Edit OS Menu tab. EasyBCD (click Download - no Name or Email required)
