    windows7 installation problem


    Windows7 installation on new hd failure.
    Message says "installation encounter unexpected restart please restart installation". This repeats on all tries.
    Have windows7 successful on other WD hd- 1tb.
    Have also tried disconnecting this one and booting only new hd.

    Any ideas!

    Does this mean you are trying to put two instances of Win 7 on your PC? If not, I would start the installation again. == If you are trying to put a second instance of Win 7, why?
