Does 7 upgrade overwrite/remove Vista

    Thank you - this is helpful.

    I've completed the install and all is well. To free disk space, I want to delete all old Vista files remaining and any install files. How do I do this?

    Use the dick cleanup utility in Accessories/system tools...

Alright, this is what's going on. I installed vista on my harddrive, and then made a partition and installed windows 7 on it. I no longer want vista, and just want windows 7. How would I go about deleting vista all together, and just have windows 7?

Finally because of all of your suggestions, I was able to install(custom) from my windows 7 64-bit disk. Now I am left with windows 7 64-bit on drive D and Vista 32-bit on drive c. How can I remove vista from my system and make win 7 on drive D my new system? Thanks in advance for the help and...
I ordered a Vista Ultimate Upgrade disc to get rid of the Windows 7 RC 32-bit. Since 7 is newer, they say it won't work, but I've heard from two sources that booting from BIOS would overwrite 7. Is this true? I don't care if it cleans my HD, I already backed up.
