    hello windows world i know i am in the wrong place to ask this well as i have met so many good friends on here that are soooooo helpful and you guys are great .can you help me here im a bit of a stick. i got a xbox 360 slim when i turn it on it goes to a green light for a few seconds then red.no picture nothing on the screen.no flashing green lights .there is no hdd in the slot to create the hdd not in all the way problem.the dvd slot is coming out and working as normal but red light there.its about just over 3 years old do you think this is a fault Microsoft will fix for free as these new xbox 360 slim are not supposed to have this problem.the power cable is %100 because its got the orange light then goes to green when xbox is in but when the light on xbox turns red the charger pulg is green also.so im guessing power pack is good.do you know what the problem could be and how much will cost to fix this

    I would work with an image rather than with a raw Windows 7 .iso. That is much safer - especially if you have special Toshiba features such as a backlit keyboard for which the driver maybe difficult to find.

    Well I have used a raw windows ios and worked
    Great buddy but I hear where you are coming from
    So where you get the software you are chatting about
    And is it only on one CD or memory stick 2 load on also
    How do I do this

    Hi friend aye I used that software to back up my laptop but sure 2 get to this
    Point you have to download a copy of just windows iOs 2
    Get away from the all the Toshiba crapware and as what a guy
    Says the PC will update all drivers needed you need .but
    As I found out all I had 2 load was wifi drivers and adobe ones 2.I'm
    Really happy with this clean windows ios as there are no Toshiba crapware
    2 be bothered with and slowing down my pc.quick question
    2 all you guys out there my PC is going great its hmmmmm 4 years old
    Do you think would it be a great idea to give it a bit of a
    Service and clean by replacing the cpu paste with new stuff .

    OK thanks dude no overheating but thought it would be
    Good 2 do it on a 3 or more year old laptop.with all the

    Nah, when the CPU overheats, the system will shut off automatically. You will know then. But I have 7 year old laptops where I never changed the paste and they still run fine. Working on a laptop is very finagle and you really have to know what you are doing. You are liable to make more damage than good.
