    Can't install Windows 8!

I'm getting extremely upset because when I try to do a fresh install of Windows 8, it says "Windows 8 we couldn't install windows in the location you chose. please check your media drive. here's more info about what happened: 0x80300024" and I've already formatted the disk that Win7 was on because I'm trying to get Windows 8 on it.

    I've already done:

    DISKPART

    LIST DISK

    SELECT DISK

    CLEAN

    CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY ALIGN=1024

    FORMAT FS=NTFS

    ASSIGN LETTER=C

    ACTIVE

STILL! Nothing! Plus, there's a partition from C: or Disk 0 (The one I've formatted through CMD) it's around 700 MB. Why is this doing this?!

yup go to eightforums.com, you'll get better guidance there.
And go for 8.1 now, as 8 is already outdated. :)

Sorry guys, you can delete this. I figured out I had a 32-bit version and not a 64-bit. It's working now. :)
