Hello Jemmaimakhan, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you only format and install on the C: partition, then the other partitions will be fine.

    Clean Install Windows 7

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

TIP for XP and other upgraders

Backup all your files and settings first using an external HDD or large USB flash and Windows Easy Transfer (migwiz.exe).

TIP for XP and other upgraders: Use the MIGWIZ.EXEW file found on your Windows 7 DVD not the one in XP! It's found in the Support\migwiz folder on your install DVD and it is faster and much more detailed than XP's migwiz!

I will post a tutorial later on using migwiz.exe (AKA: Easy Transfer) tonight if I get the time!

No need to make a tutorial on this, there is already a good one here on sevenforums:
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...-easy-transfer

Just remember to run the Win7 version from install DVD on your old Vista or XP machine.
