Dual boot Windows 7
Howdy
My friend recently bought a powerful gaming PC. I don't know the specs apart from It has a 250G flash drive as a primary and a 2TB as a secondary drive and 12Gig of ram. The trouble he has is that the primary isn't big enough for all of the games he has.
So the machine came with a OEM windows 7 pr-installed and the supplier threw in a Windows 7 Home premium box and disk with it. Both Windows 7's with different serial numbers.
What my friend tried to do was install the windows home premium onto the TB drive. One of the problems he is now having is the mouse doesn't work on the TB Win 7 drive. We tried a different mouse. Same problem, it worked on the primary drive but not the TB instal. Also the windows desktop is not stretched to the full size of the monitor on the TB install. I told him he should have partitioned the drive first and had a windows partition.
I think he also changed something in the BIOS to make it install??
Can this setup he has work and if so what could he have done wrong?
Thanks
