Pictures or no pictures deal with the cables. Neat and tidy cable management will improve air flow through the case.
Just take your time and you will be happier when done.

Alrighty. Here it is in all it's glory.

One thing I don't like about it is the inputs at the I/O shield. It seems kind of flimsy. Plugging in the monitor just does not feel very secure. Feels like something would break over time if repeatedly plugged and unplugged.

Aren't the places I've marked allow you to route cables behind the board and back out?

The HD cables? I have no idea! I'll take it apart and look at it. If that was the case then the HDs would face the other direction, right? I think that's what the salesdude said. Didn't seem like there was a whole lot of room.

I meant all cables. If the HDD cables are long enough they will pass through to connect where they do now.
What case is it, the pics may be misleading, here's mine.

I'll definitely take a look. Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: It's a zalman z9. ::: Zalman, leading the world of Quiet Computing Solutions :::

Edit 2: Hmm...yes the manual does show the HD going in that direction. Opposite of what I have.

The other side has everything sort of crammed up to the case side but nothing is blocked and none of the cables are touching the underside of the case.

    I have another problem.

If I reboot, the BIOS sets the 1tb HD as the boot device. That drive was formatted prior to putting it into the is PC. It has no data except for a recycle bin.

It doesn't seem to matter what I do in the BIOS. I have all the drives except for the boot device/SSD as inactive in the BIOS....but this 4th drive pops up everytime and of course the boot fails.

It is disk 0 for some reason. I guess that's the port I plugged it into. Must have misread the locations on the board. Does the board simply boot to disk 0 and ignore the BIOS?

EDIT: In disk manager it is Disk 0 but I called it Disk 3 because it was the 3rd spinner.

Check you mobo's bios battery as it sounds like it's faulty or not making good contact. If this is the case then your date and clock should be affected as well......it that the case?
