    ready boost

hi all, I got a sandisk fit usb 32gb for Xmas and I was just curious what the setup might be as far as exfat32, fat32 or ntfs... any thoughts which is the better use for ready boost for win 7?

For Ready boost I would choose NTFS. Else, Fat32 is a better choice for a stick. Question is whether ready boost will buy you anything. If you have 2GB or more RAM, it will actually slow down your system. RB was made for systems with extrememly small RAM - 512MB or 1GB.

That;s what I figured. You can probably make better use of the stick for data storage or even for storing an image (if your C partition does not contain more than 50GB of data). A recent image is always good to have in case your system goes belly up.

For images, you need to format it in NTFS, for data, Fat32 is a bit faster.
