If you have a good key, why don`t you just re install windows and fix it right :)

LIke i said in my very first post that is simply not an option for me, i cant just install over it the programs i had the for example like fruity loops had other software installed in other drives, now i have no way of remembering where each and everyone was and i can just take the project files into a new system and load em as all i would get would be errors, the only way to fix it would be to open up the original project in the original OS to see which stuff was used for what and then painfully replace every single detail, but even that isnt possible if i cant get into the old system.

So as you can see its a very bad situation, im not saying the stuff i had there is gonna be in the top 10 charts but it has more sentimental value to me, i had unfinished projects there, the software that fl itself was using is around 300GB+, then id had to reinstall everything right where it was at the begging, i dont even remember what most of it was called anymore

i only found out it was the registry as i did a trial and error, i slowly replaced files in the windows directory from a clean one, in the end i found it was the registry, i had hoped i could maybe delete it then boot and merge it, but so far the loading screen is just stuck on windows is starting services

It shows in th e Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start tutorial how to rescue your data.

You can also rescue the files which hold your program data, many of which are outlined in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Others you can find out how to access by googling, for example "move IncrediMail to another computer" to get a step by step tutorial. Once you find the file it saves the mail, accounts and settings in you can rescue that file like any data file.

While it might seem daunting, doing the Clean Reinstall is an opportunity to get the best install one can possibly have, and you are at the headquarters for doing this in Win7. We have helped tens of thousands do this without a single complaint, some of whom were as wary as you.

I cant help but feel like this is a 100% automated bot response, have you actually read my post just above ? i cant be any more clear that I AM NOT looking for a clean install, I AM looking to fix my broken system, I AM NOT in any way or shape or form going to format the old system, or do anything else but fix its very broken state.

Once again just to make sure, i do not want a clean install, if i did i would have never registered here and done 4 days ago in 20 mins.

It is entirely up to you what you want to do, everyone here is a volunteer who gives their free time. You have been advised of the best course of action to repair your system. Windows is corrupt. Looks like you are trying to repair an "enhanced" version with a real version and as such it sees the hacked version and falls over. Pick out your data with your working OS and reinstall. That is why I always have at least 2 OS on my systems for mission critical applications. Of course you did have a back up on an external drive ?

I dint mean to be insulting or anything like that its just very frustrating for me, the problem lies in the fact that id need to get everything cloned perfectly for me to be able to get back the data as i need it, i have no problem backing it up in fact if already imaged the whole Drive, and made countless copies of certain folders, but all of that means nothing if i cant get it up and running in the old environment.

    What is WondPW btw >

And no i dont have a backup on an external drive because it wouldn't work that way unless i installed it on external one, and yes i wanna kill myself for not even bothering with creating a restore image, but in all honesty this would not have happened if not for the constant power cuts
