You can't boot to BIOS without RAM.

ok its like this i hit power the blue light at the front comes on ,no start beep as there use to be,then there is nothing just a blank screen.I shut it down and removed the ram as instructed by someone else that was helping me troubleshoot on another forum,i got a series of beeps ,that apparently means the ram is faulty.I just thought someone else may have another idea to what the problem is.Thanks for trying anyway.

If you remove all the ram you will get the multiple beeps and the system will not do anything else.

Put 1/2 of the ram back and try it again. If same, swap ram and try again.

Also disconnect everything externally except mouse, keyboard and display. Internally, disconnect optical drive(s) and hard drive(s). Remove any add-on PCI or PCI-E cards. Power up and see what happens.

Try the other stuff now, won't hurt and you may get lucky.

What the beeps tell you with RAM removed is that the mobo is most likely OK.

Boot CD to test the RAM - Test with Memtest86+ CD for 5-6 passes or overnight. Do you get anything on screen?

Try another monitor, monitor cable and connection.
