I have a HP Pavilion All-in-One MS227 Desktop PC. Im trying to install win7 from usb drive but cant seem to find boot from usb option in BIOS. I figured it would have the usb option seeing how it a fairly newer computer. Is there any suggestions on how i can boot from usb?

If you use the 1 time function key on the keyboard to bring up the boot menu (not the Bios) what shows up on the list as possible boot devices ? Sometimes you have to expand the hard drive to show the usb drive.

Why can't you use a DVD? The HP Pavilion All-in-One MS227 has a built in DVD drive.

Make sure you have the flash stick written correctly with the latest official Win7 installer ISO for your licensed version. This and all other steps are here to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Then reboot and tap the HP ESC key, select Boot Menu (F9) and look for USB, REmovable or HD's. Expand the listings until you see the stick. If you dont' see the stick at all then it may not be formatted correctly, or you need to reboot into ESC to choose BIOS setup, look for USB settings to toggle.

While in BIOS setup see if this is a UEFI BIOS, any Legacy BIOS or Compatibility Support Mode (CSM). If so you must install to UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with - Windows 7 Forums or Bypass UEFI to Install WIn7. More on UEFI BIOS vs. Legacy BIOS - YouTube
