    [Solved] Command Window / Can't copy

    Hi guys, please anybody move this thread, I didn't know where to post :)

    I have the following problem... a friend of mine owns an Acer Aspire One netbook with XP and he wanted me to install Windows 7 (RC). Well, I did so and it worked for weeks.
    Now (I don't know what he was doing) there's always a bluescreen when booting, but so fast, I can't read anything. So I decided to re-install but first I have to recover the UMTS Software from T-Mobile and some pics.

    Now I bootet from USB and opened the command window. There's another USB stick to save, but the problem is: I don't know how to write/copy.

    DIR D: - works great
    DIR D:\Program Files - doesn't work
    DIR D:\Program_Files - doesn't work

    Could you tell me, how to deal with it?
    Next question: How to copy? I would try xcopy D:\Program Files\T-Mobile\*.* E:\Recovery\ /s/e/f

    Please help me

    d:
    cd "Program Files"

    actualy you don't even need to do the above since you can just pass the directory to xcopy.

    But any directories with spaces must be surrounded in "quotes".

    Well I don't know for sure, that the directory name is T-Mobile, that's why I want to look.
    Thanks, I'll try it :)

    //edit: Thanks, worked great!
