After Reinstall of Windows, cannot install drivers

I have just reinstalled windows 7 Home Premium and went to install the drivers. I installed two, then every other time after that I get a message saying 'installation may take several minutes please wait' then the message disappears, no other dialogue comes up and nothing is installed.

Its the same message what ever drive i try to install, wifi, bluetooth, sound, etc.

I even tried reinstalling windows again, but got the same issue. Again the first driver i installed seemed to work, but any other after that the same problem.

I have attached a screen shot.

    Thanks

After you reinstall Windows 7, do you have a working internet connection? If so, don't do anything except run Windows Update from Control Panel. Do this two or three times until all updates are applied, including Service Pack 1. Then try install the drivers if they are still needed.

Edit: Start with the Chipset driver.
