    Yes, he means a USB Flash drive/stick/pendrive.
    This explains make one bootable with Linux Mint, you can use and distro of program you have and add it too the YUMI created drive.

    yes I understand now what u meant by flash drive, it's just I've always none it called a usb stick lol but thanks again ..... anyway before going down that road I have now downloaded VMware Player ... is there a tutorial on here relating to this program and installing virtual Linux in windows seven thanks for all your help :)

    thanks britton30 for the tips / links, but in the end made know sense to me, the links ?, so went ahead and installed, can say not very user friendly lol but I did get installed eventually ...... guess u need some knowledge base in installing its not automatic like windows .......

    so far I like what I see I need to install this as a real option at start up lol plus on its own drive
