I think i need to do a FULL reset that would give me a brand new registry. any help is much appreciated.. im hoping to chat with all so ill be checking

reinstalling windows is pretty much like formating the harddrive and installing windows on it again.
So no regristry files and such will be left over. Though you cant completely remove everything from a harddrive. even the files you removed months ago is still left on your harddrive but its very damaged due to the harddrive have written new files onto it. But if you reinstall windows everything will be gone. but if you have an store computer ( non build) then you will be likely to get all the blotware that the computer came with from the beginning.
But to sum it up, When you reinstall windows it will look exactly like it did when you first bought and started the computer. everything will be gone if you do it right
Hello sageon and welcome to Seven Forums.
Doing a clean install of Windows 7 will give you a "clean" registry. If you provide some additional information as to why you think you need a brand new registry, there may be some other things to try before doing a clean install. Like using a restore point, running a System File Checker scan, using a hidden recovery partition, etc.

im not 100% sure I need a new registry but, I recently downloaded adobe after effects Trial version
and when I tried using the animation and pre sets library on After effects, it kept telling me to download adobe bridge patch 5.0.3 so I did, and it FAILED
so I rang adobe and spoke with some one who couldn't help so transferred me to someone smarter, even the smarter guy couldn't figure it out ,
so I rang again the next day (oh by the way when I first tried to ring, they were closed for 4 days)
anyway I rang the next day and spoke with 4 different people. they couldn't help and said have a nice day. so I rang a week later and spoke to a BRIDGE SPECIALIST he couldn't figure it out
after about 2-3 weeks I FIGURED IT OUT.....adobe BRIDGE turns out is an APPLICATION and you cant install a patch for an application if you don't have the APPLICATION.. so I downloaded adobe BRIDGE the application and what do you know, it works. yay wait, no no, only 6 days till expiry and I was busy for 2 of those...
...SO adobe's call centres may be slow, but there pro programmers that make these products are as smart as they get, so I want to use the trial again but I think I would need a whole new registry or maybe more I don't know, what do you guys think.....also my pc is only 2months old and has all most nothing on it..
It won`t make your pc new, but it will sure feel like it.
With a Samsung ssd there is no reason your system shouldn`t fly
I would definitely get rid of AVG

@ sageon - Although re-installing Windows every 30 days in order to use After Effects for free would probably work, it sounds like a pita to me. You may also get flagged at Microsoft due to repeated activation. In the long term you may want to consider getting an Adobe subscription. If you are a student they have discounts.
BTW I do sympathize -it is very expensive software, but the best. I have Master Collection CS5 and use After Effects every day, compositing C4D tiffs into movie clips.
System restore to before you installed After Effects?
To get the cleanest possible install, be sure to delete all partitions during the booted Clean Install Windows 7
using the Drive Options pictured in Steps 7 and 8. Then create and format new install parttion(s) as desired, install Win7 to first partition after the small boot partition it creates.
