According to the AsRock website, it says there are only USB 2 headers. Are you connecting from the case ports or the rear ports? The usb3 ports are on the rear.

Is it plugged into a blue USB port or a black USB port?

What OS and CPU are you using here?

Did you install the chipset drivers for the board? Try downloading the ones from your board link. When I try to post it, it says 404 Page Not Found.

Have a look at this on USB versions.

The transfer speeds are theoretical, I know of no flash drive capable of 625MBs though. A couple of SSDs can reach that but in SATAIII.

The main problem is that the dock is not working correctly w/USB 3. It always wants me to format the HD, which already is. Not really a speed issue, figured that was just a symptom of the USB 3 fail.

Do any devices work in the USB3.0 ports, even 2.0? Does the dock work in other PC's USB3.0 port?

Devices do work in the U3.
The dock works fine on other PCs w/U3.
The dock works fine in U2.
I will check out that tutorial.

Devices work in all of the U3 ports. Still need to run through that tutorial. Maybe tonight.

So...deleting infcache.1 didn't do anything. Dock still wants me to format the disk in the dock.
    Frustrating...! ASRock has not replied.
