Build multiboot USB to boot both windows 7 install disk and avast

Okahe here's the problem. I used yumi multiboot usb creator to put my windows 7 disk and ultimate boot cd onto my usb. I created a avast rescue disk with my avast and I found that this disk has a bootmgr and windows 7 install disk also has a bootmgr so I cant put them both on the flash drive. I've tried grub chainloading the windows 7 iso but when I try tp install it says "Load Driver" and when I grub chainload the avast iso it doesnt complete. I have tried making a partition and puting the windows files on the one partition and the avast files on the other and then grub chainloading the hiden partitions which does the same. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe Ive skipped something

I would use a backup image of your completed install with Avast (and anything else) already installed. This is the modern way to replace slipstreamed installers, although you can try slipstreaming Avast into the Win7 ISO using 7Lite.

To apply image to different hardware then you'd either first SysPrep to move HD to another computer before applying the image to new hardware, or once you've applied it if it won't then Adjust Win7 to boot on new hardware with Paragon Adaptive Restore CD

You can also create and apply the image with Acronis with Universal Restore. This is not the free version provided with any WD or Seagate HD which is also recommended.

Or you can use Win7 backup imaging or the preferred alternative here: Macrium - Image your system

Okay I am not sure you understood my problem corectly. Avast has a built in function that creates a bootable usb or cd to scan your computer for viruses. Here is the file directory<iframe src="https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=858BB729AB9774FA&resid=858BB729AB9774FA%21190&authkey=AMPpRmYYaJwjMg4" width="319" height="170" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe> Now as you can see it has asimilar layout to the windows install cd. I want to have both of them on one USB. If I use YUMI and put it on my root directory as I would for the windows install dvd it works but if I grub it as a iso it starts but reboots. If I put it on my root directory and grub windows install dvd iso it says driver missing. I will look into slipstreaming avast into the win 7 cd

OK I understand what you want now. I don't think making a bootable AV would work via slipstreaming unless you're wanting to install Avast along with Win7.

For what you want to do if having Yumi write it to stick isn't sufficient to work alongside the Win7 installer also written by Yumi to flash stick, then I would use another FREE Bootable AntiVirus Rescue CDs Download List. I put several of those and Windows Defender Offline on my stick using Yumi. http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-mu...t-usb-creator/

Is it maybe possible for me to merge the two isos together so that I can select if I want to run avast or if I want to install windows using the standard windows bcd store and bootmgr (with some minor customizations)?

Not that I know of. I would use whichever of the free AV boot disks that will load with Yumi. I have Bitdefender free AV rescue disk, and Windows Defender in both 32 and 64 bit, along with the 64 bit Win7 installation media on my stick. Until Malwarebytes makes a boot disk these are really all comparable.
