setup can't detect hard disk
Hi,
I have a big problem.
I had a windows 7 system on my laptop, and I tried to install Ubuntu in dual boot. I free some space from windows, then I insert Ubuntu live cd, I went to manual partitioning and no free space where detected. There were a sda4 partition that was about the same space I free before in windows, so I delete the partition and I try to add ubuntu there. Then I press ok to install. The setup of Ubuntu failed, and then Windows didn't start, but shows an error 0xc0000225.
This is what I tried to do:
1) recovery from F11... failed.
2) start prompt from F11.. failed.
3) recovery: Well I insert my windows setup's dvd and I try to recovery, but the recovery failed telling volume damaged.
Then I open the prompt from the live cd of windows:
4) bootrec.exe /Fixmbr: success
5) bootrec.exe /FixBoot: no success.
6) diskpart: CAN'T DETECT C: !!!!!!!!
7) editbcd: no success.
8) BIOS hard disk diagnostics: success.
then I try to setup windows directly: THE SETUP CAN'T DETECT HARD DRIVE.
The strange fact is that with a live CD of Ubuntu I can detect my data files on the hard disk and I can navigate through it. And Ubuntu detect the hard drive also. I try from Ubuntu to use boot-repair and that's the result:
Ubuntu Pastebin
