    Windows works without unlocking?

I finally got the installation to finish but I forgot to write down/print the unlock code. I did save it though. I have it. I pushed "Next" and it worked. Windows 7 appeared. However this has me worried. I figure I should still unlock it since I have the key. Is there a way to bring back up the unlock option?

Do you mean Activation? You have the 25digit code? If so, I think it's Control Panel/System & Maintenance/System, on the bottom you will see "Activate Windows Now"...click on it and follow the prompts (I assume you're online!)

It was actually what Roddy said, but thanks to both of you. It solved my problem quickly!
