as for the 2 yellow exclamation marks in device manager. i double clicked on the first one (multimedia controller ) and it said device not installed.
I had a doubt that you will not hide microsoft drivers. So I made it bold. Still you ignored/overlooked it.

Search for any possible driver update for it. If no update is found there, better you dont use it.
And, Disable USB Selective Suspend too.
USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off
USB Selective Suspend is now disabled
ive sussed out to get the hardware identification info from device manager but struggling with getting the thing i need from dell support page .
the multimedia controller info. is 102F + 01BA
and the unknown device is ACPI\ TOS6205
do i need to update my bios from what i have on my system which is version 2.30 dated 28/08/09 to the 2.30 version that is dated 05/09/11 on the toshiba website.
It is Bluetooth. ACPI\TOS6205 drivers
You may get it from http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth...wnload-toshiba
But if Bluetooth is not a must for you, you may let it remain as it is.
