Possibly, but burning using Windows Image Burner is immediately suspect since it is not recommended to burn Win7 installation DVD. Use the Windows Download tool or ImgBurn at 4x speed.

I used the Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool and everything is going normally! I hope this will work! I will have a timer recording the time.

It has been 6+ hours, and it has failed once again. I woke up to the computer turned off. I turned it on and it showed an error that said 'Your computer can't come out of hibernation.'

Is it possible you ran the installer from your other Win7 instead of correctly booting it?

That error appears to mean that the OS is installed but that Hibernation is not working. Have you installed all of your Important and Optional Windows Updates after enabling Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3)?

The problem could be that the Display driver needs to be updated. Compare it to the one provided on the Acer Support Downloads webpage for your model. While there install the chipset, too.

I ran the Windows 7 installer from the Windows 8.1 GUI because the Windows 7 DVD cannot boot from the F12 menu at any costs. It just freezes the logo and nothing happens after that.

Windows 7 remains to be unbootable. Am I supposed to do it there? Windows 8.1 reports in "Devices and Printers" that Bluetooth is the only device not working properly on my PC. (I uninstalled Unknown Device, which was an old printer. That was from 8.1 with a Windows 7 skin.)

What about the BIOS update, or have you reset the BIOS to defaults to see if you can get the BIOS Boot menu to function?

You must try to install Win7 in Compatibility Mode to see if that resolves it, and cannot pick and choose the steps that suit you. Complete every step give so far in the thread before we go any further.

Did you try setting DVD drive to boot first in BIOS setup? Do you get a prompt to "Press any key to boot disk?" If not you have a bad installer. Download another ISO, make sure it completes the download this time, and burn to disk with the tool from Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

If that fails try flash stick install using same tool.

The BIOS functions properly and is at the most recent version.

I ran the "setup.exe" file in compatibility mode for Windows Vista RTM. I ended up with the same demise. Stuck on "Starting Windows." I left plenty of time for Windows to install. I was able to install Windows Vista SP1 on another computer and update it to SP2 and when I returned, my laptop was still stuck at "Starting Windows"

If that fails try flash stick install using same tool.
Okay, I will try that next. Just to let you know, the DVD is fine. I changed my BIOS to Legacy momentarily, and the DVD functioned just fine. It booted up and let me go to the install screen.

It seems like going to legacy is the only option feasible now.

A problem with UEFI is that every BIOS is different and constantly being updated with new firmware. So be sure there wasn't one recently released for yours, and comb the settings in BIOS setup with a fine tooth comb. If you're not fed up with it already you can snap pics of the various tabs settings showing all choices and we may be able to spot one that applies. But they are pretty common to be CSM, Legacy BIOS, BIOS Boot, and UEFI labeled.

I think it would be worth it to install Win7 and then reinstall Win8 in Legacy Mode, not only because it may be the only choice but also because it makes repairs, imaging and reinstalls so much easier.

Here are some things I made in paint. Terrible quality, but those are basically all the options in my BIOS.

EDIT 1/2: Removed few BIOS tabs.

Usually when Secure Boot is disabled in Security tab it disappears or says Disabled. I've never seen it say Standard as it's status. What are the other choices?

Granted it says Secure Boot Disabled in Boot tab so I may be grasping at straws.

I see that model has no BIOS update beyond v.2.18: Acer | Download
Have you read the Manual from the Downloads page, under Documents?
