You don't need any driver finder programs, they are more trouble than they are worth.
Do have any in device manager?
You can always find drivers through the manufacturer or Hardware ID's of the device.

Nothing in the device manager showing as a issue or flag, I gotta say been using it a few hrs this morning it's just working fantastic, so I guess I will call her and say hey this is fixed/working if they want it back no biggie for me not much time into it, and I have a stack of drives so no biggie there either, if they say keep it (they did just buy a new one) then the kids will dig it here, nice to be a tinkerer sometimes help someone else out or get something going that would go into the trash (she said she almost threw it out a few times) hehe.

It is fun tinkering, I always learn something tinkering around. :)
btw I put in the serial number hit activate and it accepted activated no problems very cool, I learned a bit doing this too, actually a lot easier than some reloads :)
I like it when things work out like that. Less frustration is always more enjoyable. :)
