is this gonna solve this problem if i repair the old motherboard, install win7, activate it then uninstall. then install on this new pc?

Depends on if it's retail Full or Upgrade version which can migrate anywhere, or Builder's or Factory OEM which is tied to the first mobo activated upon and isn't supposed to migrate anywhere else. But we have had reports of MS making OEM exceptions for good cause so it's always worth a try even if an OEM which has already activated upon the mobo.

There are sometimes regional restrictions which vary according to many different factors too numerous to predict. So it's best to try first with an activation agent then if necessary appeal to MS Customer service which also has worldwide phone numbers.

this number is just ringing ... +880-288-3297-375. so i call back to +65-6324-8098 .. a Chinese woman ask me again to call +880-288-3297-375. she says its Malaysia. but +8802 is my country..Bangladesh.

is there any other way to activate? why microsoft don't have email option

    hi johnebadbak,
i have done that with no success. microsoft server hold my previous (dp55dw)motherboard info. and that mobo was not working/burn/god knows what happen. so i had to run my recording project with a new system. (asrock motherboard) after installation win7 to new mobo it let me update so i thought everything is ok. untill yesterday i found i was forgot to activate windows. the last time i install win7 was 4 years ago shame on me. how can i forget. at least i would got more time for this.

so the good news is singapore support gave me a Bangladesh support center number: +88028832973-75 and the bad news is Bangladesh support center don't hold the phone. i tried almost 100 times from morning till now

why microsoft don't have email support? they also should have product registration account.

    hello gregrocker,
Bangladesh Mirosoft support dont hold phones is there any other method around? my pc repair guy call me saying there were problem with ram. 2 slots are gone but rest 2 is working(4gbx2) he can ready the pc by tomorrow.

so i have an idea... shall i install win7 to my old machine then activate and after that UNINSTALL win7. so Microsoft server will let me install to new pc (asrock/32gb_ram)

    what do you think?

That's not really how it works. You only need to wipe the drive of the old machine to get it cleanest. If it was never activated you certainly wouldn't want to activate it on the old install anyway. Just activate the new one.

For Full or Upgrade retail but not OEM, the reactivation is done by overwriting the old Hardware ID in MS Servers with the new one. They won't know you've abandoned the old install until you do this, then if you try to connect from the old one it will eventually show deactivated.

It's possible it will activate outright over the web, or using Phone Activation, but as the message warns you may need to be in the location specified to activate it. If it becomes a problem you can appeal to MS Customer Service which is supposed to have a phone number everywhere their products are available.
