    Windows load from 2 partition?!?

    Hi,

    I have 1 hdd with:

    C: Windows
    D: My Files
    E: Me movies

Then I added new SSD disk and clone Windows from C: to new SSD. Then I repair windows 7 loader and now I can boot Windows from C: and Windows from F: which is SSD disk. When I go to msconfig I can see which windows I boot at this moment and when I boot from C: it lates to boot 68 seconds and when it boots from F: (new ssd) it takes only 35 seconds.

When I boot old Windows from C: everything is OK. Now problem is when I boot Windows from SSD it appears as F: (In my PC) and this is a huge problem!!!
-My documents, My music, Desktop and so on load from C:
I can change everything but my desktop not, but this not a solution. When I try to install a new porgram it goes to C: not to F:
Everything goes to C: and my Windows appears in F:

There is any way to change that? I need to change F: to C:

There should be an "Auto" setting to select the drive letter for your clone or image. If not save a backup image instead, select "Auto" drive letter, transfer MBR and Track0, keep the correct partition Active.

The easiest way is here for SSD - Install and transfer the Operating System.

Whenever a clone or image won't boot after reimaging, confirm the correct 100 mb System Reserved (preferred if you have it) or C is Partition Marked Active then run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
    with all other drives unplugged.

Please post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image with all drives attached. But if you want Win7 on C and that clone doesn't boot as C you need to do it over with an "Auto" drive letter setting.

Hi gregrocker. I have not 100mb partition, but I copied bootmgr file to SSD and mark is as active. It doesnot boot. Appears a meassage that a new hardware was installed... then I did startup repair and It found old Windows on HDD and clone windows on SSD. But problem is not that. When I run windows in HDD it appears as C:
But when I run Windows in SSD it apperas in F: but when I go to My documents, Desktop i goes to old windows to C: not to F:
Do you think if I clone again and disconect old disk it will be OK? I can diskonect old disk as I will not clone. I have image made by acronis, so I just will restore image.

Yes restore the image using Acronis boot disk making sure to include MBR, track 0, Active partition and Auto drive letter.

This is exactly what I did first time. I have checked MBR, but I have no more option to check like auto and so on. I use acronis 9. First time when I restore I had connected 3 hard disk and this time I will try to connect only SSD.
