According to the manual, there are three recovery options available.

Recover Windows to first partition only , Recover Windows to entire HD and Recover Windows to entire HD with two partitions.

You should try Recover Windows to entire HD. May be "F9" functionality might be restored after that.

Dude, I have, actually my sister has pictures and songs (you know girls....) more than the hair I have so backing it up would be almost impossible, I guess it's okay

Tip: uninstall the bloat AV and install MSE.

Turn off everything in msconfig>Startup and >Services after Hiding All MS Services, except MSE.

This will turn off the freeloaders from starting with Windows but they'll still be there to open if needed.

What are freeloaders?

Asus and other crapware starting up with Windows that is not needed to start with Windows and wastes CPU and RAM. About half of it wants to run to spy on you.
