Please try the below steps.
1. Download and install "Partition Guru" from http://www.eassos.com/partitionguru.php 2. Install the tool and open it. Unlike "Partition Wizard", "PartitionGuru" will let us copy files from hidden partitions. Now create a folder in one of the empty data partition - preferable named "Recovery". Then copy asus.swm, asus2.swm,asus3.swm and asus4.swm to the "Recovery" folder. http://www.partitionguru.com/manual/...mPartition.php 3. Open an elevated "Command Prompt" and type the below command exactly. dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:e:\Recovery\asus.swm (assuming the SWM files are stored inside "E:\Recovery" folder ). Let us know the result with next reply. |

Hi
Usually the recovery image will contain the necessary drivers required for the system. However it won't hurt to copy that wim file too. On a later thought, please execute the below command after the first one. dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:e:\Recovery\asus.swm >e:\wiminfo.txt This will create a file named "wiminfo.txt" in E drive. Please attach that file along with the screenshot. |
