Installing windows, Setting up services infinite loop.
Hello SevenForums community, I am new here and I really need some help ;_;
I have an Advent Quantum Q200 and it's running on Windows 7 Ultimate (upgrade) and I decided to reinstall it again to its factory settings. I used the same process of when I upgraded to ultimate (creating a bootable USB) however this time around when I tried selecting the ISO image to use, the USB tool would say that the ISO image isn't a valid one (though it was the same image I used to upgrade). So I extracted the ISO and placed its content into the USB along with some other bits and bots on the USB which I wanted to save. Then I ran the setup.exe and I begun the installation and everything was fine and then it came to the part where the system needed to reboot to continue installation. Then it rebooted and was on the final stage and the progress halted and the progression bar didn't move for a good 15 mins. I needed to be somewhere and shut the laptop and went out and when I came back I tried turning it on it would start and say windows failed to boot a recent hardware change might be the cause etc and then I went in start windows normally and then it said setting up services and an error window would pop up saying installation failed and needed to restart so I opened up command prompt with F10 + and shift and opened up the directory of my USB and typed setup.exe and ran the setup and after I hit next the laptop restarted and the error screened appeared again with the windows failed to boot screen and the same thing happened except this time instead of the error window popping up the laptop would just restart.
I have:
-A 64bit recovery disk that came with my Sony laptop of mine (laptop is now broken) (I can manage to get command prompt running)
Disk also has Something called Vaio rescue
-A windows installation disk which I made a while back tried but fails to load after 2/3 of files have loaded upon booting (disk must be faulty as drive loads other CDs successfully).
-USB with windows installation files
I don't have any other Windows install or repair disks or access to another computer and I really need a laptop for my college work and i can't buy another right now >.<
Any help will be appreciated (: many thanks x
