How do I do a clean Window 7 install from a downloaded upgrade

I did something stupid - I created an admin account on my Windows 7 Home Premium netbook and forgot the password. Now I need to do a clean install to start all over. I was given this link from Microsoft:

Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

I don't see on this link how to start the process. When I go do the downloads on my netbook and click on setup, it wants the admin account password. How do I start the reinstallation of Windows 7 from a downloaded copy (this is a netbook so there is no optical drive either).

    Thanks for your help.

Hello Runninrep, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you like, you could create a bootable USB flash drive to use to boot from and do a clean install using Option Four in the tutorial in your post. :)

However, you might see if you may be able to use OPTION FIVE in the tutorial below to reset your password to hopefully avoid reinstalling Windows.
